well, for starters, that's what i look like. and that's my dog. and that's what we look like together.

i live in portland. aka pdx, stumptown, bridgetown, rip city, city of roses etc. i love it. but my heart skips a beat when i see the lights of san francisco as i cross the bay bridge. i'm originally from the mojave desert and i've lived all over california. one day i will live in new york and another day i'll live in europe. i've been a division 1 college swimmer, a musician, a daughter, a sister, a girlfriend, a friend friend, a party girl, a recluse, a bartender, a veterinary nurse, an artist, a heartbreaker, a slob, a neat freak, a traveler, and a worry wart.

i have this crazy idea that our bodies were made to heal themselves, and that mother earth gave us everything else we might need to help it do so. epidemic prevention aside (penicillin, polio vaccine, etc) i feel that 99.9% of modern drugs, chemicals, and foods were invented strictly for profit. the government can't make money off of healthy, happy people. conspiracy theories aside, my goal is to teach people that they need not be dependent upon unhealthy products simply because they don't know any better.

and that's how i'm going to change the world.
